Rent the Mizel Museum
The Mizel Museum is a unique place to hold meetings, social gatherings and family celebrations. Set in the midst of our permanent exhibit, your guests will be inspired by the art, artifacts and symbols of Jewish history and culture. Multiple rooms accommodate up to 125 guests for a party, and our sanctuary room seats 60 for sit down meal.
Features include:
- Carpeted sanctuary room has raised platform for DJs or musicians, and plenty of room for dancing
- Outdoor sculpture garden and fenced-in yard
- Multi-stall restrooms for men and women
- Use our kosher kitchen or our kosher caterer (all food must be kosher dairy or pareve)
- Provide your own beverages (wine and liquor must be kosher; no cash bars)
- Free wireless Internet access
Details & Fees:
- Non-Profit: Sanctuary room rental is $25 for a four hour period, and $50 for an all day event during normal business hours. Events during non-work hours (before 8:30 am or after 5 pm) incur a $25 surcharge
- For-Profit: room rental for one or two rooms for up to three hours is $100
- Rental fees must be paid at time of contract signing
- Janitorial fee $45 for simple vacuum and bathroom clean or $75 for full building clean
- Chairs for 50 people are available; six 6β tables are available; 8β projection screen available
- Large carafe of coffee is $8 per pot (serves 8 β 10)
- Wireless internet is available
Non-profit organizations:
- Sanctuary room rental is $25 for a four hour period, and $50 for an all day event during normal business hours. Events during non-work hours (before 8:30 am or after 5 pm) incur a $25 surcharge.
Corporate meetings or private luncheons:
- Room rental for one or two rooms for up to three hours is $100
- Events during non-work hours (before 8:30 am or after 5 pm) incur a $25 surcharge
- Fee includes kitchen usage by approved caterers and approved kosher liquor may be served
- Events during non-work hours (before 8:30 am or after 5 pm) incur a $25 surcharge
Celebrations for private individuals or organizations:
- Must join the museum at the family level of $144
- Daytime sanctuary room rental is $300 for five hours including use of the kitchen; only approved kosher caterers and kosher liquor are permitted
- Evening rental $400 for five hours, including kitchen usage by approved caterers, and approved kosher liquor may be served
- Parties and celebrations are only scheduled when the museum is closed to the public: after 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, and Friday evening or Saturday for Jewish-religious-themed events or Saturday evening after sundown
