Join us in San Antonio, Texas as we launch our new national conference, Judicial Institute: Family Law, which will feature a range of cutting edge family law topics on challenging issues in divorce, custody and visitation, property distribution and finances, military service and families, and the role technology and social media play both in and out of the courtroom. Top judicial and national experts in their fields will provide the latest advances, helpful advice and successful practices.

The mission of the Judicial Institute: Family Law is to provide the most current information and tools to family and domestic relations judges to improve case processing and outcomes for children, youth, families, victims, and communities with whom they work.

The NCJFCJ thanks cooperative partners, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the National Judicial College for their support with this conference.

Program participants are eligible to earn 15.5 units of continuting legal education credits through this program (1.5 specific to ethics). Forms will be distributed at the start of the conference. 

At this time, the NCJFCJ is not accepting session proposals.

Cancellation Policy: The NCJFCJ will not deny admission to any program because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, disability or religion. The NCJFCJ reserves the right to limit, cancel and/or refund registration on a case-by-case basis should circumstances require. Cancellations for conference registration must be made prior to January 24, 2013 for a full refund. Cancellations received after January 24 and before February 23 will incur a $100 administrative fee. No cancellations for refund will be accepted after the start of the conference.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Westin La Cantera Hill Country will serve as the conference hotel. Early hotel reservations are strongly recommended as a limited number of rooms have been reserved at the reduced rate. Must book by 2/1/13 to receive the reduced rate, subject to availability. An early departure fee of $75 will be charged if a change in scheduled length of stay occurs and guest does not advise hotel before check-in.

Expected Attendance: Approximately 125 attendees, including registered participants, faculty, committee members, etc., are expected at this conference. Judges who hear juvenile and family law cases are expected to make up approximately 70% of participants, with the remainder being attorneys, administrators, and court personnel. However, others working in the field of juvenile and family justice as also welcome to attend. 

Fees:

$750 - Exhibit Fee (includes participation for one exhibitor, one 6-foot draped table, two chairs and a wastebasket) 

$650 - Each additional exhibit person

Deadlines:
To be listed as an exhibitor in the Program Guide or to place an ad, the Exhibitor Application and any advertising artwork must be received by January 11, 2013.
