REVIEW: Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition by James |

Reviewer’s thoughts
The Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition is a really solid 7970 GHz Edition based card, the card came well packaged and sports a really cool (no pun intended!) custom designed cooler. In fact from a cooler point of view the Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition has the lowest Delta temperatures that I have recorded for a 7970 GHz based card, that’s pretty impressive! Read Full Review… |
REVIEW: HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition by James |
Date: 16 October 2012 |
Reviewer’s thoughts
Wow! The HIS 7970 X GHz Edition was good, but this card, the HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition (H797QMC3G2M) is better, why? Because it offers everything that most Gamers want at a damn good price, what more do I need to say… Read Full Review… |

Reviewer’s thoughts
The HIS 7950 IceQ BOOST edition has like all previous HIS graphics cards been a pleasure to work with. HIS have improved the iTurbo assistant and it now provides an alternative way to overclock the graphics card rather than using the AMD Catalyst Control Center. Read Full Review… |
REVIEW: HIS 7850 IceQ X 2GB by David |

Reviewers thoughts
The HIS 7850 IceQ X 2GB has certainly impressed me during my time with it and is definitely deserving of the highest award available here at pcGameware. The overall build quality is simple but practical and the honeycomb design around the fan area is certainly going to be a matter of preference. The black plastic outer casing could have been made a bit more stylish… Read Full Review… |

Reviewers thoughts
The HIS 7870 IceQ GHz Edition has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Admittedly the iTurbo graphics card assistant and poor instructions are the only real negatives (albeit minor), but ignoring these issues the card has been a dream come true. If I could ignore the iTurbo assistant and poor instructions I suspect I would be giving the 1st perfect all 10 pcGameware score. Read Full Review… |

Date: 8 May 2012 |
Reviewers thoughts
The MSI GTX 680 TWIN FROZR (OC Edition) is the first new Nvidia Kepler based card that we have seen here at pcGameware, and its put in a rather impressive showing. This card is not based on the reference design and comes with the now common MSI Twin Frozr heatsink, this is a smart affair as it doesn’t rely on massive fans or heatsinks to do its job, a job it does well. REVIEW: MSI N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition by James |
Date: 05 November 2011 |
Reviewers thoughts
The MSI N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition has put in an impressive showing here at pcGameware outperforming a near stock GTX 580 by 23% in the Metro 2033 (2560×1440) benchmark. As this test is one of the best Real World DX11 tests available today, that represents modern gaming, this is a rather impressive achievement! Read Full Review… |
