About

Our Farm House was built at the turn of the century with the architectural styling of the late Victorian Period. The Farm House B & B has been restored for comfort, relaxation, and casual enjoyment. You will be staying on a real working farm with dairy cattle, goats, chickens, peacocks, llamas, Jacob sheep, cats and two dogs named HJ and Gracie. Feeding baby calves, gathering the eggs, fishing in the farm pond, walking, running or biking on the 5 mile nature trail, viewing the newly planted Vineyard, and shopping in the wine and antique shop in a remodeled machine shed are all part of the Farm House experience. The Farm House Breakfast offers a full-course farmers’ breakfast with locally grown products.

All guest rooms are decorated differently to reflect the owner’s eclectic interests and feature private baths, TV’s, VCR’s, air conditioning, individual heating controls, queen and king size beds. We have two suites available that offer a Jacuzzi, deck, and other personal amenities. Click here to see an overview of our working farm in action.

In 1993, Dianna and Loren Engelbrecht purchased the farm and spent the next 5 years restoring the home and making it into the Farm House B&B. We hosted our first B&B customers in September 1998. Here is an example of the wonderful decor found throughout the bed and breakfast.
