As a craftsman of pottery, of paintings, and of custom-made skis, Ben is accustomed to melding raw materials with good ideas. His way of meeting a good challenge with an open mind, be it fly fishing or problem-solving with the Fathom creative team, spurs daily productive dialogue for us and clients.
An innate collaborator, Ben immerses himself in every aspect of the process, from stretching the contours of a fledgling idea to shaping a clear final design. Ben's common sense and refusal to sacrifice the most intelligent solution to pretty packaging makes his work exceptional.
Trained in the fine arts and design from Alfred University, he constructs visual metaphors that blend practical necessity with artistic sophistication. In Ben, his team and clients gain the insight of someone who is able to take a complex problem and deliver a simple, beautiful solution, whether it's clarifying the creative direction or expressing it through a website, an interactive experience, a print campaign or an identity package.
