Drake explains what his latest single means to him.

Shortly before winning his first Grammy for Best Rap Album for his second album, Drake explained the meaning behind the lead single for his third.

“It was about the misinterpretation of me as a person,” explained Drizzy of "Started From the Bottom" spacer in an interview with Rap-Up TV. “I feel like I don’t say enough and people have their own preconceived stories about what I’ve been through. I’m just sort of excited about that song. It means a lot to me and my friends and what we’ve done to get to this position.”

Drake also hinted that an official remix to the track would be dropping. A video for the song has already dropped.

Earlier this week, Drake revealed that the title of his third album would be Nothing Was the Same.
