February 2013 will mark the fifth year Social Media Week returns to New York, to explore the social, cultural and economic impact of social media.

2/ Manuel Miranda: A Question of Identity
Manuel Miranda discusses how he and his collaborators identify opportunities to use design to call attention to the needs of marginalized communities, engage public space, and create frameworks for public interaction and dialogue.
When: Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 6:30pm–8pm

3/ Viktor Koen: Fetch & Sketch
Viktor Koen shares his unorthodox methods of developing concepts for clients, curators and his mother through an avalanche of sketches and finished images, industry stories, anecdotes and obvious exaggerations in order to make an impression.
When: Thursday, February 21, 2013, 7pm–9pm

4/ Alexander Isley: Working with Words
Alexander Isley shares his work, including some rarely-seen treasures from the vault, produced in his early days at M&Co. and Spy magazine.
