Student Photos Appear in New York Times Slide Show
The latest “Education Life” supplement in The New York Times features photos from students of memorable class assignments. Two photos submitted by Bryn Mawr students made the online slide show and one, submitted by Dorothy Shu ’13, made the print edition. Go here to see the slideshow.
Shu submitted a photo of a project she’d done for a class on special education. Maria Aghazarian ’13 and Shannon Yaeger ’13 co-submitted a photo from a project for their “Queer Global Cinema” class.
The photos were a big hit on the Bryn Mawr Facebook page, where an alumna commented, “I love how most projects come from art or art history classes, and then there’s Bryn Mawr’s “Queer Global Cinema.” So proud to be a Mawrtyr. Well done, Dorothy, Maria and Shannon!”
