Game Submissions
We do not review unsolicited game or card submissions, return submissions, or make comments on submissions we haven't reviewed.
If you have an idea for a game, we recommend that you:
• Contact an agent, broker, or other experienced game industry professional. They can assist you further in your effort to get a game idea published or submitted.
• From time-to-time, Wizards of the Coast will run design competitions such as The Great Designer Search to offer potential developers a chance to showcase their talents.
• Regularly check our Careers Page for opportunities to become part of the Wizards of the Coast Team.
• Become an active participant in our Online Community, where players are often sharing and exchanging development ideas for our brands.
Artwork Submissions
Wizards of the Coast makes books and games that span the limitless realms of fantasy, science fiction, and adventure-and artwork plays an important part in everything we do. Because of that, we have an ongoing demand for talented artists, and will review samples of all forms of illustration, with a distinct emphasis on:
• Fantasy (contemporary and traditional/medieval)
• Science Fiction (space opera and cybertech)
• Concept Illustration (concept development, architecture, environments, vehicles/equipment)
• Cartography (2D, 3D, and isometric)
Hard copy art submissions will not be reviewed.
Wizards ONLY accepts and reviews only digital forms of artwork, submitted by email, which may include: jpegs, pdfs, and links to web pages. Submit your portfolio for review to artdrop@wizards.com.
If you desire an in-person review of your portfolio, we offer such reviews at a limited selection of conventions that our art directors attend in conjunction with company needs each year.
PLEASE NOTE: By submitting your artwork, you acknowledge that your submission does not create any relationship between you and Wizards that is not expressed herein. Further, you acknowledge and agree that the materials contained in your submission may be identical with and/or similar to materials that Wizards has independently developed, or that has or may come to Wizards from other sources and you agree that you shall not be entitled to any compensation by reason of the use by Wizards of such similar or identical material.
