I'M BORED was chosen as A Junior Library Guild Selection (Fall/2012)
PERSONALLY:
2011 Sue Alexander "Most Promising For Publication" Award for my YA novel: didn't win, but it was still a great honour.
2010 SCBWI Illustration Mentorship Program Award: I was one of six chosen for the SCBWI Illustration Mentorship Program. Mentor that picked me: Cecilia Yung of Penguin USA. We Mentees from that year launched KidLitArtists.com, a blog for children's book illustrators.
2010 SCBWI Honor Award: one of two runners-up in the overall Illustration Portfolio Showcase. The other Honor Award went to Ye Won Lee, and the Overall 1st place winner was Molly Idle.
