Brooklyn Supper is written by Elizabeth Stark and Brian Campbell. We live in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn with our two daughters, and have been chronicling our (mostly) seasonal, local cooking and baking since 2008.

A few years ago we started buying most of our food at the local year-round farmer’s market. Cooking seasonally and from scratch is important to us (click here for a little background on why), and through our bi-weekly posts highlighting seasonal ingredients, we hope to start a conversation and inspire readers to get to know local foods, from the humble to the sublime. Brooklyn Supper is a place for seasonal recipes, everyday food ideas, the Brooklyn food scene, rooftop gardening, and farmer’s market resources. There is a great food community in Brooklyn, and throughout the US, and we are happy to be a small part of it.

We list all of the Brooklyn Supper recipes here or use the search bar on the left to browse by ingredient.
