OpenMRS is requesting proposals to host the 2013 OpenMRS Implementers Meeting! Our annual Implementers Meeting began in 2006 as a way to bring members of the community together for an opportunity of face-to-face time to collaborate, share implementation experiences, and to find ways to improve the OpenMRS platform and community. The conference is also a great opportunity for the host country to display how OpenMRS is being used to help save lives on the ground.
Past meetings were held in South Africa, Rwanda, and the Philippines, but we welcome and encourage bids from anywhere in the world.
Prior to completing the proposal, we strongly encourage reading through the 2012 Implementers Guide [PDF] to assist you with the proposal process. Please read it thoroughly for important information. Additionally, a list of 2013 holidays and other events is available to assist you with planning dates.
Groups interested in hosting the 2013 Implementers Meeting are asked to complete a proposal no later than Tuesday, 11 December 2012. View the complete list of RFP questions and then submit responses online.
For any questions, please contact the OpenMRS Events Team.
