The Office of International Affairs provides support for campus internationalization initiatives and the development of education abroad opportunities for students and faculty. Study Abroad staff members provide guidance and expert consultation for developing international programs, university-wide study abroad advising, management and business services for study abroad programming, and risk management oversight. Ohio State offers more than 100 study abroad programs in over 40 different countries, and close to 20 percent of undergraduates have a study abroad experience before they graduate. Students have the opportunity to study business in France, learn Spanish in South America, perform research in Iceland, intern in Switzerland or volunteer in Honduras. We invite you to explore your opportunities to study abroad through The Ohio State University through this Study Abroad Presentation, Study Abroad Reflections Video, Study Abroad flyer and our webpages. To learn the basics about study abroad, you should first attend a Getting Started session. If you have specific questions about a program, schedule an appointment with the appropriate study abroad coordinator during office hours. For faculty members interested in study abroad opportunities for their students, coordinators are available to visit classrooms, campus events, and residence halls to give study abroad presentations. Study Abroad SearchThe International Affairs study abroad search engine allows students to explore program options by multiple fields to find programs specific to a subject they are interested in studying, a particular country, the length of time they want to study abroad and the time of year.
