A night of hilarious top-notch comedy featuring local comedic greats on an intimate stage that won’t break the bank! Lucy’s Comedy Cafe has hosted such comedians as Pat McGann ( House MC at Zanies Comedy Club and creator of the Chicago Stand-up Project), Rocky LaPorte (The Tonight Show, HBO and Comedy Central) and Denise Ramsden.

March 8 will feature comedians Michael Issac and Vince Maranto with special host Mike Preston.

Michael Issac
Michael Issac is a stand-up comedian and actor from the south side of Chicago. As an actor he has done several corporate films, live performances and television commercials for companies such as McDonalds, Walgreens, Old Navy and Walmart. As a standup comedian, Michael has made Zanies Chicago his comedy home where he performs regularly as the Host and Feature. His brand of comedy is “Good.Clean.Funny.” His dynamic stage presence combined with his charismatic delivery is quickly making him a favorite to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Vince Maranto
Vince  Maranto  has  been  performing  at  comedy  clubs  and  colleges  from  New  York  to  L.A.  for  over  25  years. Some  of  the  over  15,000 shows  that  he  has  performed  at,  include,  Zanies, The  Funny  Bone,  Catch  A  Rising  Star, and The  Improv.  He  has  opened  for  such  acts  as  Robert Klein, Norm MacDoanld,  David  Brenner,  Jeff  Foxworthy, Tracy Morgan,  Martin  Lawrence  and  Craig Ferguson,  as well as  many others.  Vince  has  been  seen  on  Superstation’s  TBS & WGN,  PBS, as  well  as  local  Fox, ABC, and NBC  stations. Vince is also in the book, “ I KILLED, (stories from the road featuring America’s top comics).”  Vince has appeared at the “GREAT AMERICAN COMEDY FESTIVAL” at the Johnny Carson Theatre.

Mike Preston
Mike Preston is a comic, author, self appointed anti-social worker. Having endured years in the trenches of social work, assisting people in various states of psychological disarray, he has all but abandoned political correctness, and opted to shine a big bright light on society, illuminating the entertainment aspect of the human condition. Mike’s also the host a of wildly successful TV talk show, Psycho Babble. His guests have included Mike Ditka, Craig Ferguson, Gilbert Gottfried, Adriannne Curry, Vanilla Ice, Gene Simmons, Ted Nugent, Jennifer Steele, Tera Patrick, Lacuna Coil, Henry Winkler and Jerry Seinfeld.
