The new edition of the Beginner Perl Maven e-book has been published.

Some people say that the title is unclear, so let me explain. This is for people who would like to become Perl Mavens, but who know little or no Perl at all. Who are beginners on their path to become Perl Mavens.

Report for February 2013

A couple of days ago I posted my monthly report for January.

Part of the reason for posting these is to help me see how much (or how little) work I have managed to do each month. It is not easy to build an on-line business as I can be distracted easily by various fun projects that might be interesting, but that don't move my business forward. (see below)

Last year, I wrote monthly TODO lists, and reports of my online accomplishments. Well, I wrote them sometime. This year, I have not even written a New Year's Resolution as it was so unclear what was the correlation between my plans for 2012 and my actual results.

The future of Perl or what happened at the Perl Reunification Summit?

People are concerned. Is there a future for Perl?

I started to write this post back in August 2012, right after PRS and YAPC::EU, but then ... you know, I got distracted. Due to the recent discussions I just felt it might be a good time to clean up what I have, add my new thoughts and publish the article. I have to admit, I don't exactly remember how was the summit. Luckily there were others who posted about it.
