Schedule:
- 10:30 Festival Opens
- 11:15 Flag Presentation*
- 11:45 Flag Presentation*
- 12:15 Susan Buck Sutton Awards for Study Abroad
- 1:00 Flag Presentation*
- 1:15 Open Mic
*For the third year, the IUPUI Flag Collection is on display in the Campus Center. The collection, which is curated by the International Center, includes flags of all UN-recognized member states. As a result, it does not include all states represented by students at IUPUI, so we welcome the formal addition of flags that are not represented. During key times at the International Festival — 11:15, 11:45, and 1:00 — students are invited to formally add flags to the display and will have 2-3 minutes to explain why the non-UN member flag should be included. Presentations should be professional and focus on the merit of the cause rather than attacking an existing UN member state.
International Lecture Series
In cooperation with the IUPUI International Festival, Office of International Affairs, the Department of WLAC is hosting a series of lectures by IUPUI faculty and students with the purpose of increasing knowledge and awareness of international issues among our campus community.
