Help Juneau Sky by buying the new album before it is made! When you contribute $15 on this page you secure your autographed copy, to be released this spring.
After a year of touring, recording, and performing together Sarah St. Germain and Tony Bernardo decided to join forces as one music group - Juneau Sky. Intersecting Destinies, our new album, is a compilation of our latest songs... and our first "group" effort.
For those of you who supported Sarah and I in our last fundraiser it might please you to know that we accomplished our goal: to get label attention. FURocious music is a small label out of Los Angeles that uses music to bring awareness to animal rights issues. Sarah submitted her album, Being and Becoming, and we were offered a deal! There was one condition however: that we record radio ready, hi-fi versions of our songs on our own, so that they can provide free promotion and marketing valued at $25,000-30,000. This is EXACTLY what we need at this stage in our music career.
The studio time for recording Intersecting Destinies has already been booked, thanks to the generous support of H.B. Barnum at Gala Music Productions. For those of you who are not familiar H.B. please take a minute to read his bio. The first session lasted four days, and our final session will begin January 15th. By the end of this session we'll have recorded 10 new songs and a live music video of "Chasing the Light," our first single.
We have a enough money to track the record but we still need a significant amount of money for post production and duplication. Here is were the remainder of your contributions will go:
1. Mixing by Jamie Condiloro (R.E.M, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson) - $3,000
2. Reproduction of $1,000 cds- $1,200
