Options for Study
As part of the School of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Manchester there are a number of ways to study astronomy at different levels:
- Postgraduate courses are available at JBCA at MSc and PhD levels, providing a training in the methods of research together with the opportunity to participate in front-line research. Two MSc courses are available, "Radio Imaging and Sensing" and "Astrophysics". The PhD is in Astrophysics in one of our research areas, including astronomical technology.
- The School of Physics and Astronomy offer a range of undergraduate courses, including Physics with Astrophysics.
- Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics offer a limited number of placements to school students seeking work experience.
