spacer

While Rachelle studied engineering in college, her diverse interests led her to take classes in everything from poetry to product design. After graduation, eager to exercise both creative and technical muscles, she chose to practice architecture.

Rachelle anticipated a career dreaming up skyscrapers and bridges, but discovered what she really enjoys is crafting space: developing interiors that shape the user experience. Her contributions at architecture firms MKThink and Perkins+Will include work on corporate offices, research laboratories, and higher education spaces, including Stanford’s d.school.

Rachelle also enjoys visual communication, and holds a Professional Certificate in Graphic Design. She values story-driven print and web design, beautiful typefaces, and visualizing complex information in elegant ways.

Given her varied background, Rachelle is passionate about interdisciplinary projects. She strives to master the art of designing simple, functional, and meaningful experiences.
