Dage the Evil Fan Art Contest!
What to do: Make Dage the Evil original artwork. You can draw, sculpt, paint, bake anything you can think of, as long as everything is made by you!
Prizes: The Grand Prize Winner will receive a custom-made Weapon by Dage the Evil himself! Runners-ups will receive a specially crafted Cape by Dage. And, as always, we reserve the right to award people who go above and beyond!
When: Starting now and closes Friday March 8th, 2013 at 11:59 pm EST (server time), with the winners being announced during the following week.
Rules(entries not following these guidelines will not be considered):
- Design must be inspired by Dage the Evil and/or the Undead Legion.
- You may use any form of media for your design. (Pencil, Flash, etc)
- All artwork must be original. This means no screenshots from the games can be used.
- Tracing is strictly FORBIDDEN. Absolutely NO TRACING.
- Only ONE entry per AQW account, and make sure to convert to .jpg format and within the preferred size range of 800x600.
- Post a VALID link to your submission. Try uploading your picture through www.photobucket.com if you need a photo uploader (Facebook links dont always work!)
- Include your AQW character name on your submitted picture AND in your post so we know who to award the prizes to!
- You may NOT EDIT or DELETE your post after you have posted your entry (unless your link is broken--then you can still fix it). So make sure it's right before you post it, and make sure your link works. This isn't a race, you don't need to be the first to post. All submissions WILL be looked at!
- You will be automatically disqualified if you do not follow all the rules. PMing a staff member will not excuse you from any situation.
- HAVE FUN!
Please do not post just the word "placeholder" or use large, aggressive fonts, we will check out all the entries, so it doesn't matter when you post your entry, as long as it's up before the thread is locked. All such posts will be deleted. This thread is strictly for entry posts, if you really like an entry please PM the editor or check for the official discussion thread. Long live the Undead Legion! Make Dage the Evil proud! As of March 2, 2013, a new guideline has been placed.
Because there are people out there sabotaging entries with bad tags, entries from tinypic will no longer be accepted. After talking to Alina, this seems the most appropriate course of action. Entries need to be submitted through Twitter, FaceBook, Deviant Art, Photobucket and Imageshack. Please make sure to take note if you can disable comments, that will be in your best interest to prevent people from abusing your entry.
We apologise for this, but it is necessary.
