The VU generally closes at 5pm on the Friday before a three-day weekend and reopens at 7am the following Tuesday. Check Today's Events for event information.

Viking Union/Student Activities

The VU is a place for all community members - a people place, a place to meet, get involved, and to relax. A place for people to work together - to play together. It is a union of people, events, facilities, and services. Here is a chance to interact, to influence the course of University affairs, and generally get involved. The Associated Students government is here to serve you and to provide answers to your questions. The VU/AS will endeavor to meet your needs with exciting new programs, and well-maintained, functional facilities. These services, programs, and facilities are available to Whatcom Community College and Northwest Indian College students, as well as the greater community.
