WCIA 3 / Slumberland Furniture Grammy Awards Trip Contest
The Prize – Enter to win a prize package Grand Prize trip for two to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards (February 9 – 11, 2013). Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation to/from Los Angeles from airport nearest winner's home in Continental U.S., tickets to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 10, 2013, transfers between airport and hotel and more (approximate retail value: $4,235).

WCIA 3 / Slumberland Furniture “Grammy Awards Trip Contest” entry for the contest begins January 8, 2013 and ends on January 30, at 12:00pm. The contest is sponsored by Slumberland Furniture, IllinoisHomepage.net, and WCIA 3.

Eligibility:

This Contest is open to U.S. citizens residing in the WCIA-TV / WCIX-TV viewing area only. To enter you must be 18 years or older to but the prize may be used only by the winner or the immediate family where the winner resides. Employees of Nexstar Broadcasting Inc., IllinoisHomepage.net, and Slumberland Furniture (all of the foregoing are collectively the “Sponsors”), other radio and television stations in the WCIA viewing area, cable companies, employees of the parents, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, the sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies of all of the foregoing and the immediate families and those living in the same household (whether related or not) of all of the foregoing are not eligible to participate or win. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local regulations apply.

Participants are eligible to win a contest only once every sixty (60) days.  Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.  Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every (6) six months.  By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by and comply with these Rules.

Grand prize winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, advertising and liability release within 1 day of notification or prize will be forfeited. All winners agree to use of their names/voices/likenesses in publicity and advertising without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Taxes are sole responsibility of winners. Limit: one (name of prize) per household or family.

The entry form must be complete in order for the entry to be valid.  All entries must be received prior to January 30, 2013 at 12:00pm. 
Limit - one entry per person per day. More than one entry per day results in disqualification.
Sponsors are not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet or SMS connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site, cellular or on-line service, any other error or malfunction, late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries, or for printing errors in any advertisement, entry form or the rules.
Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.  If the Sponsors/judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Sponsors/judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date.  If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.ciliving.tv and IllinoisHomepage.net.  If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.  Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest.

Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

Prize Award
Grand Prize Winner – The grand prize winner will be selected at random on January 30, 2013, after the deadline.  The winner will be notified by phone and/or email.
The Grand Prize trip for two to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards (February 9 – 11, 2013). Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation to/from Los Angeles from airport nearest winner's home in Continental U.S., tickets to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 10, 2013, transfers between airport and hotel and more (approximate retail value: $4,235). (The prize package does not include gratuities, taxes, or any other fees and expenses not specifically listed in the prize package.) 
The pre-verified (by phone) winner will be required to furnish legal picture identification and proof of age when he or she claims his or her prize and will be required to provide a valid social security card. IllinoisHomepage.net reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if the Contest rules are violated. IllinoisHomepage.net’s judgment as to such matters shall be final. No substitution of prizes or transfer of prizes to a third party is permitted. If it is determined that the winner is ineligible to participate, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner by random drawing. If it is determined that the first alternate winner is ineligible to participate, the prize will be awarded to a second alternate winner by random drawing. If it is determined that the second alternate winner is ineligible to participate the prize will not be awarded.
General Information

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from the Sponsors.

By participating in the Contest, participants, winner and winner’s companions agree to have their names, voices, or likenesses used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, and winner and the parent/guardians of winner’s companions shall be required to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to their participation in the prize.  By accepting the prize, winner and the parent/guardian of winner’s companions grant to Sponsors the right to use the winner’s and winner’s companion’s names, voices, pictures and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). 

All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner.  Winner and winner’s companions, if any, by acceptance of their prize, agrees to release the Sponsors, and their advertising, promotion and production agencies and their respective parents and subsidiaries, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in directly or indirectly in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any Contest or prize-related activity.

Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest which will become effective upon announcement.  Sponsors are not responsible for errors in the rules, their announcements, or the offering or the administration of the Contest.
No prize transfers. 

Sponsors may substitute prizes for prizes of like value, in the Sponsors’ sole discretion.  Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.  Offer subject to federal, state and local regulations and laws and is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited.  By entering, participants agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors/judges.
