Enjoyed your review of Maids of Misfortune. I am a fan of the “cozy” mystery and am pleased to discover a new author in this genre. I have read the sequel to this book and the few areas that you wished to see more enhancement are developed more fully in the sequel. I am hooked! I want to know more about Annie and love learning about life in San Francisco in the late 1800′s. M Louisa Locke is a wonderful new author and I hope to read many more of her books in the future!
