Before I came to Briarwood I was home schooled and then went to public school. The change was very different. At Briarwood there are smaller classes instead of eight different classes of 30 kids. I like being in a smaller class much better. The teachers are all very helpful and nice. Briarwood also has provided me with many extracurricular activities that I can participate in. I play Varsity softball, Varsity basketball, Tennis, Varsity track, and Varsity twirling. I also participate in the piano and organ program and in Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Our Mission at Briarwood Academy is to educate students in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment while instilling the life-long characteristics of excellence, trustworthiness, respect toward others, and pride in themselves and their school.
Excellence
Briarwood Academy is a college preparatory school. The mission of the school is to prepare average and above average students for college, technical school, and employment. The school recognizes that educational preparation is best accomplished within a well-rounded program that includes the academics, literary, sports, and extra-curricular activities, all of which stress values, citizenship, and achievement.
