Alumni Awards & Programs


IUPUI Top 100

This annual recognition program is co-sponsored by the Alumni Association and SOAR and recognizes the Top 100 undergraduate junior and senior students on the IUPUI campus. From that pool, the top ten males and top ten females are recognized and ultimately the top male and female. Students are nominated and then judged by a review committee comprised of faculty, staff, and alumni. IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame

The Jaguars Letter Club annually selects and inducts former outstanding athletes or athletic program supporters into the IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame based on nominations which are reviewed by a selection committee. An annual banquet is held at which the honorees are inducted.

IUPUI Holiday Night at the Children's Museum

This annual event is held at the Indianapolis Children's Museum in early December and is open to all IU and PU alumni, family members, faculty and staff. more...

IUPUI Alumni Leaders' Dinner

Each February the IUPUI campus, through its Alumni Council, recognizes its hundreds of volunteer leaders at an appreciation dinner. At that dinner, the Maynard K. Hine Medallion is presented to individuals who have had a unique and significant impact on the IUPUI campus. Selection of the medal recipients is made by a committee comprised of alumni leaders and previous recipients. more...

Weekend U

This continuing education event for IUPUI alumni originated in the School of Liberal Arts as “Dean’s Day”. The goal was to focus on one appealing topic which would allow the School to showcase faculty to alumni. In 2009 the alumni associations from other schools on the IUPUI campus decided to partner with Liberal Arts to open the event up to more alumni and showcase faculty from several schools on campus. The event is supported by the IU Alumni Association, the Purdue Alumni Association and the IUPUI Conference Fund. more...
