    Overview and Mission

The Center for Disability Resources (CDR) ensures that qualified individuals with disabilities are provided an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the academic and vocational opportunities available at IIT. The CDR provides reasonable accommodations to qualified students, faculty, staff, and guests with disabilities on an individualized case-by-case basis and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

    CDR for IIT Online
If you are a student with a disability who would like to discuss accommodations for your IIT Online classes, please contact the CDR at 312.567.5744 or disabilities@iit.edu.

    When to Contact CDR
All accommodations are determined on an individualized basis. Advance planning is critical to ensuring that accommodations are provided in a timely manner.

    • Students should contact the CDR either before the class begins or at the beginning of the semester
    • Those requesting text in alternate formats should allow a minimum of 5 weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.
    • Students should register during priority registration and check access to each course and immediately inform the CDR of the class schedule.
