The Institute for Transport Studies has received royal recognition by winning a prestigious Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.
The award was made to ITS for βsustained excellence: 40 years impact in transport research and teachingβ.
The Queenβs Prize scheme is part of the honours system and confers the highest national recognition on the work of UK universities.
A delegation of ITS staff and students attended the prize giving ceremony at Buckingham Palace to receive the award in person from The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
