Caramelized Pork

Caramelized Pork. Need I say more? By now, most of us know that sweet ingredients pair impeccably with pork. Pork chops and apple sauce, pork sausage with fennel, bacon and maple syrup. See what I mean?
Denise and Laudalino are the adorable couple behind the blog, Chez Us. Together they own a company that specializes in webcasting and video production, and in their spare time, they cook and share their delicious eats with the world, courtesy of Chez Us.
This dish was inspired by one of Anthony Bourdain's favorites-Vietmanese braised pork belly with caramel sauce. It provides a bit more substance than just a cube of fatty pork belly (not that there's anything wrong with that) and is served atop a bed of slippery noodles.
Visit Chez Us for more inspired meals for two, and let us know what sweet and savory combinations you're planning for the holidays.
