Bad Fruit? Printing Problems with Apple Computers

If you have an Apple laptop, you may have encountered difficulty printing to the library printers lately. Recently, Apple released vendor-approved, updated printer drivers (the software that tells your computer how to talk to the printer) for all its supported Operating Systems. However, these newer drivers do not work with our copiers.

We have contacted the vendor about this problem, and have notified Fifth & Broadway. We will be working with them to rectify this as soon as possible. In the interim, you may use the library provided computers to print your documents.

If you haven’t run Software Update in a while, we recommend not installing update HT3669 until these problems are resolved..

Paper Due? Print It Directly From Your Laptop

The library printers are available for use from your personal computer.  If you have a laptop connected to the campus OpenWiFi network, you may use our instructions below to add the printer(s) to your computer:

Note: Normal printing fees set by Fifth & Broadway still apply.  Additionally, jobs sent to the printer will expire within 1 hour.  If your print job expires, you will need to resubmit in order to print.
