The Nike LeBron 12 “Dunk Force” arrives at retailers tomorrow, November 11th, 2014. Dunkman vs Dunk Force. The LeBron Dunkman aesthetic – one featuring a bevy of Electric Green, Black and Metallic Silvers has been the longest standing color palette this side of a black and red aesthetic in the LeBron line. This year, the infamous look has beed dubbed the Dunk Force as it tries to fit into all of the scientific themes set in motion to study the seemingly physics-defying athlete that King James has grown into over his illustrious twelve year career. Check out more photos of the latest installment of LeBron’s coveted Dunkman colorway and know that you can always try and secure your size early on eBay.

Nike Roshe Run NM “Black Safari”

November 10th, 2014 by Darren Griffin | No comments

Safari print has made the rounds throughout much of the Swoosh arsenal, and for the most part, its never not welcome. The iconic print which of course was established back in 1987, doesn’t look as good on some styles as it does others, an unfortunate truth thats just a matter of fact. Yet, is most cases, safari does the trick exceptionally well if not amplifying the look above face value. Today, the Nike Roshe Run NM “Black Safari” not only successfully implements the timeless print, but pairs it with an on trend black-on-black theme. This union evokes a sense of sports and opulence thats hard to ignore. Shades of black engulf the shoe while safari print dominates the upper as the commanding creation is known to do. Check out this new Roshe Run for yourself after the break and let us know what you think.

November 10th, 2014 by Darren Griffin | No comments

Even though the Nike Air Footscape Desert Chukka peaked this time last year upon its initial release, the hybrid model is certainly still very much a focal point this current fall/winter season. Fusing the Nike Chukka and Nike Air Footscape silhouettes, durable construction married to woven materials brings forth breathability and natural motion through an aesthetically pleasing model. Its latest color iteration blends a black woven upper with a hyper turquoise midsole, with a black caviar textured lace collar and heel strip. A black rubber outsole finishes things down bottom while a leather and textile upper adds a luxe layer to this refined sneaker. How do you feel about this pair? Take a look after the break and cop your own now at Sneaker Politics.

Ever wonder what Bo Jackson is up to these days? Well, had you watched his ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, You Don’t Know Bo, you would already be aware that he’s hanging out in his mancave making arrows. Oddly enough, among the many things he knows well, Bo Knows Arrows, too. His love for archery is just one of the many interesting layers that add to overall mystic of one of the most gifted athletes of our time. Today, those worlds collide as we take a closer look at the Nike Air Trainer SC II “Bo And Arrows.” Derived from his Southern roots, Jackson’s love for sports of all kinds, converges upon arguably his most popular signature silhouette. After a first look last week, we explore the model in greater depth, noting its outdoorsmen vest-like quilted orange collar, and nature-enthused olive coloring in plush nubuck. The pixelated blend of woodland and tiger camo highlight the shoe along the midsole, sockliner and tongue collar completing the look. The Nike Air Trainer SC II “Bo And Arrows” lands on Saturday, November 15th for $135 at NikeStore.

Reebok Answer 14 “Christmas” and More

November 10th, 2014 by Darren Griffin | No comments

While remaining somewhat true to their claim of only crafting training sneakers, Reebok offers a heavy basketball infusion to the alluring Reebok Answer 14. A bold model with strong design cues that helps continue to Reebok Answer lineage, also highlights the logo from Iverson’s Reebok Question, a cosmetic item that leaves many wondering – why the fusion? Though the straightforwardness of the shoe is somewhat unclear, its slim paneling offers an aesthetically pleasing draw while a speckled midsole and durable, rigged outer, lead towards style and performance. Breathability looks to be at a premium throughout the upper while, again, Reebok Question logo work takes over the tongue and heel. Strong stitching moves throughout the upper giving the shoe a distant trainer feel along with the hoops influence. Check them out in detail below and stay tuned to Sneaker Release Dates for when you can pick up your favorite pair.
