Register with OARS

Registering with OARS is easy!

First, understand the seven types of disabilities the office recognizes, candidates responsibilities and the guidelines for documenting your disability.

Then gather your documentation and submit the online Voluntary Disclosure Form.

Accessibility

Please note: some items require file type viewers, which can be freely downloaded. Each file type link is labelled.

Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader, can be downloaded from the Adobe web site.

A free Microsoft Office Viewer can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site. Select the correct viewer based on MS Office file type.

The Office of Accessibility Resources & Services is located on the second floor of the Elliott University Center (EUC) in Suite 215.

Hours
Office: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Adaptive Technology Lab: 5pm to 8pm, Monday - Thursday.

Testing Accommodations

Students must submit a Testing Accommodations Request at least 7 days prior to the test date and time. Directions: PDF and DOC

Textbook Conversion

Have a Textbook or other classroom material that needs to be Converted? Complete the following form using your computer, print it and bring to the office.
