Blackboard Collaborate 12 Recording Conversion & Streaming Service and SAS 5.6
Information Technology Services is pleased to announce the Blackboard Collaborate 12 recording conversion and streaming service, and SAS 5.6. The recording conversion and streaming service allows Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing users to easily convert Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing recordings to MP3 and MP4 formats. Using this service, Instructors and Moderators can quickly and conveniently make any recorded sessions easier to access on virtually any device.
This release will also address minor bug fixes.
How do Moderators/Instructors access and convert their recordings using this new feature?
The Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing recording conversion and streaming service is available to Blackboard Learn users. The way to convert your recordings to a MP3 or MP4 format is by logging into Blackboard Learn and sign in with your credentials. Select Blackboard Collaborate under Control Panel and course tools. Select the recording tab and you will see the option to convert your recordings into the new MP3 or MP4 formats.
