Why This Girl Look Cute

Cute Japan Girl

The Japanese make some truly wacky movies like the squid movie The Calamari Wrestler . Later this summer on August 8th the movie The Machine Girl or The One-Armed Machine Girl (片腕マシンガール Kataude Mashin Garu) will be released. The film stars beautiful gravure idol Minase Yashiro 八代みなせ in her film debut and had its worldwide debut at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival on March 22nd. The film is written and directed by Noboru Iguchi 井口昇 who directed Sukeban Boy and Cats Eye body.

In keeping with the schoolboy theme, waiters with manicured hands and soft voices pretend to be teenage students, chatting and flirting with well-dressed Japanese women playing the roles of benefactresses visiting the school.

On a Saturday in January, the cafe, which opened late last year, was packed with giggling customers.

“Most of our customers are office ladies in their twenties and thirties, women who are fashionable but normal,” said Emiko Sakamaki, Edelstein’s 27-year-old manager, herself dressed in a loose mini-dress over skinny jeans and knee-high boots.

Edelstein is based on one of Sakamaki’s favourite comic books, a 1970s cult classic about romance at a German school.

Its visitors are united by a passion for such “boy-love manga”, or comics about boy-boy romance for female readers — a genre that is currently undergoing a huge revival in Japan.

The 20 top list viruses in the world

Posted on September 11, 2008 by admin Category Internet

Security vendor Kaspersky has just released the top 20 of the virus that plagued the Web last month. The results were not startling, with generic Trojan Email-worm.Win32.NetSky.q still leading in the Board. In fact, from a total of 20 malicious programs, 15 were Trojans. In regard to the countries with the most intense infected e-mail traffic, the United States holds the top position, followed closely by South Korea and China.

Since it is summer and fairly all those on holiday, relaxing in the sun, the virus statistics are similar to those of May. The three positions are still occupied by the Trojans, Netsky and Nyxem. What is interesting is that for some malicious software this is their first appearance in the top 20. Coming in at number 16 and 17 are two new invader program called Net-Worm.Win32.Nimda and Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Injecter.ga. The other new programs coming in at the bottom of the list: a WMF exploit ranks 19th and a Trojan called E-Worm.Win32.LovGate.w the 20th position.

The aforementioned Nimda worm is not new, it is only new in the top 20. It originally came out as of 2001, but has resurfaced and appears to be to make a pretty nice recovery. Nimda use every opportunity we can find to breed, this includes the infected e-mails, network devices, LAN vulnerabilities, the IIS server attacks. When the computer is infected, Nimda proceeds to create a guest user account and make it possible for everyone on the network to access data stored on your drives.

Ubuntu Photo Manager Experiment

Posted on June 10, 2008 by admin Category featured
spacer

spacer I have a passion for photography and have become heavily entrenched in the tools available on Mac OS X, such as Aperture and Photoshop. This experiment focuses mainly on Aperture and what tools, if any, exist for Ubuntu to replace my Aperture workflow with something cross-platform and open-source that I can use on Mac OS X and Ubuntu.

Hypothesis:

Aperture will reign supreme and continue to be my default photo manager and raw photo editor after trying the Ubuntu Linux photo management alternatives. Honestly, I do not see how free and open source solutions can compete with Aperture.

Experiment:

I am heavily invested in Apple’s Aperture photo editor manager. Given Apple’s attention to detail, and the Core technologies available from the Mac OS, I had sincere doubts anything could stack up in the Linux world.

But, I have been surprised many a time, especially by Ubuntu itself; I was looking forward to seeing what the open source world had to offer.

With this experiment I set out to learn:

  1. Can I edit raw photos in Ubuntu?
  2. Is there a capable photo manager that compares to Aperture?
  3. And, if the above questions are answered positively, can I get my photos out of Aperture’s proprietary and platform specific database and start managing with them in a workflow compatible with both OS X and Ubuntu Linux?

Need More details? check on this post

Handwritten Typographers

spacer This is only example Post, Test for special purpose, I hope you enjoy my test and have a nice day. Hit pause for a moment and consider how greatly we – people in the digital age – are indebted to typographers. Almost all of our visual communication is delivered using the products of their craft: newspapers, SMSes, instant messages, emails, web pages, signs, posters, billboards; the list of purposes is endless.

In these days where looping strokes have been replaced by keyboard clickety-clack, typographers define the style and tone of our missives. Would you like to be elegant, modern, childish or … disturbed? Then you can choose between Garamond, Montag, Comic Sans, Zebraflesh, and a thousand more.

There’s great power in a typeface, but what’s always interested me more than the typeface is the designer behind it – why did they create the typeface? Where did their inspiration come from? How did they start?

Lately, I’ve been asking just one question, though. Something which has always intrigued me: these people that help us communicate … how do they themselves communicate? If we strip away the monitors, and the printing presses, and the typefaces … how would William Caslon have written on a post-it note?

Applying a Social Computing Strategy

Posted on March 10, 2008 by admin Category Uncategorized

All your supporting arguments must be communicated with simplicity and charm. And in such a way that the reader will read on. (After all, that’s a reader’s job: to read, isn’t it?) And by the time your readers have reached this point in the finished copy, you will have convinced them that you not only respect their intelligence, but you also understand their needs as consumers.

As a result of which, your entry will repay your efforts. Take your sales; simply put, they will rise. Likewise your credibility. There’s every chance your competitors will wish they’d placed this entry, not you. While your customers will have probably forgotten that your competitors even exist. Which brings us, by a somewhat circuitous route, to another small point, but one which we feel should be raised.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
