Flying to Santa Fe Directly

There are an increasing number of airlines flying directly into Santa Fe each day. Here is the current list:

American Airlines - American Eagle offers two nonstop daily flights between Santa Fe and Dallas and one nonstop daily flight between Santa Fe and Los Angeles. 800-433-7300

United Airlines - United offers two daily flights to Denver on small jets.

Santa Fe Municipal Airport
The Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF), is open to private aircraft and a few airlines. It is located at the southwest corner of the city, and handles all types of private aircraft.

Shuttle Service to Santa Fe

NM Rail Runner Express - TRAIN
The New Mexico Rail Runner Express carries passengers in and out of Santa Fe between Albuquerque and points south. There is no direct train from the Sunport. You must take a shuttle or taxi to the Albuquerque Train Station and catch the train north from there. See Maps of the Rail Runner route to Santa Fe. Santa Fe is located in north central New Mexico in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (the southern most section of the Rocky Mountains) at an altitude of 7,000 feet. Train

Amtrak's Southwest Chief trains - eastbound from Los Angeles and westbound from Chicago - meet each afternoon at Lamy, New Mexico. Call the Lamy Shuttle at 505-982-8829 to arrange transportation to or from downtown Santa Fe (18 miles), a reservation is required and highly recommended. Parties of 1-2 people please reserve at least 24 hours in advance. Larger parties should reserve at least one week in advance.
