-->Everyone loves a mashup, don’t they? Dirty Soup vs FOLK clothing might sound like an unfortunate laundry incident, but we’re not afraid of a little mess, so we decided to get down and dirty with Folk to produce some extra limited edition T-Shirts.
Directed and shot by Tu Neill with sound by James Hayday, this MS-Paint inspired clip documents the process… ALMOST exactly as it happened!
Dirty Soup recently flew out to NYC to production manage the first and only live performance by The Soronprfbs, the band from Lenny Abrahamnson’s latest film FRANK, on The Colbert Report.
With Michael Fassbender on vocals, Maggie Guilianhall on synths, Domhnall Gleeson on keys, François Civil on guitar, Carla Azar (Audiolux/Jack White ) on drums, it was never going to be a normal day at the office!
We arrived into a blisteringly hot Manhattan and headed straight over to rehearsals. Once the stage was set, the band turned up and got straight to it. Stephen Rennicks, the film’s genius composer and musical director, made sure they were all on point.
After an intense 48 hours of rehearsals, it was time to head uptown to Colbert and get ready for the real thing. Come show time, the band didn’t disappoint. They were focused, as loud as hell, looked really odd and were absolutely brilliant!
Below you can check out ‘I Love You All’.
Stephen Rennicks soundtrack will be available on iTunes on September 15th on Silva Screen Records.

Three sisters, The Staves, aka Emily, Jessica, and Camilla put in a remarkable performance at the latest Soho House Dirty Soup Session last week.
They wowed the instantly smitten crowd with their exquisite songwriting and beautiful harmonies, performing songs from their first album ‘Dead & Born & Grown’ including the beautiful ‘Mexico’. In closing their 45 minute set, they previewed a handful of new songs that pointed the way to an amazing second album to follow… not bad for a Tuesday night in Soho!
