the cbox rules
be sure to check back often
For the first time in a very long time, you are allowed to connect a link to your cbox username! However, we ask that you follow some very simple guidelines so that everyone may continue to enjoy this privilege:
  • Since we cannot control what pops up on other sites, and because we don't want any of our members accidentally stumbling upon something they don't want to see, no links outside of Caution are to be linked to your username or posted in the cbox. This includes, but is not limited to: 1) Links to any site with pornographic/hateful/harmful content, 2) Chatting websites (e.g. Tinychat), 3) Links to outside places (pictures, youtube, twitter, etc).

  • No links related to RP sites are to be posted or linked to your username (e.g. the site itself, tumblr/video trailer promotions for the site, and/or graphics related to the site). If a member asks you for the link, send them a PM or direct them to the Caution advertising section. This includes links related to your site, resource sites, and any other forums that are not Caution.

  • If someone is in need of locating a certain forum (e.g. "Where can I post an ad?" or "I want to request a coded signature. Where can I do this?") you may post a direct link of that Caution forum.

  • DO NOT post in the cbox if your question can go in a specific Caution request forum; instead, post in the appropriate forum - someone will help you out in no time.

  • You MAY put links to Caution requests, but they are only allowed to be linked to your name (just post the link in the box that says e-mail). You must NOT, however, point out or hint at your request. For example: "<-- Hey guys, click my username!" or "I need a request filled!" especially if it is hyperlinked to your name.

  • No flaming or spamming of any kind (e.g. about staff, members, sites) is to take place in the cbox. Any prolonged discussions or disputes are to be sorted through PMs. If you require the immediate assistance of a staff member, feel free to type "Is a staff member around?" or send a PM to any staff member on the online list. Spamming also refers to unnecessary multiple posts, often with no point or many small posts in quick succession which could be posted as one message.
It will be very obvious if you have not read these rules. If at any point you are found breaking any of the rules, you will be banned from using the cbox for a set period of time. If you do not understand the rules, need any help at all, or simply have a question you need answered, then please do not hesitate to PM a staff member! (:
