Headquarters

Kink.com’s studios are headquartered in the San Francisco Armory, a 200,000 square foot 1914 reproduction of a Moorish Castle that served as a National Guard Armory and Arsenal until the 1970s. The historic landmark was purchased from a private owner in 2006 by Kink.com CEO Peter Acworth. For more information about the Armory, please visit ArmoryStudios.com.

Sites

Kink.com comprises and entire network of fetish and BDSM sites, including over two dozen premium subscription sites; a free documentary news site, BehindKink.com; a interactive live cam site, KinkLive.com; and an on-demand site, KinkOnDemand.com, that allows customers to purchase every shoot ever published by the company on an individual basis. KinkOnDemand.com also provides exclusive access to Kink.com’s impressive collection of test shoots, as well as shoots from leading third-party producers from around the world.

KinkMen.com, the company’s gay division, was launched in 2008, with the release of BoundGods.com a gay bondage site. Helmed by legendary director Van Darkholme, Kink Men now boasts five sites including NakedKombat.com, a hardcore wrestling site and MenOnEdge.com, a BDSM edging site.

Kink.com employs a diverse staff of over 100 talented and sex-positive people. All of our regular site directors are full-time employees, but guest directors are occasionally contracted for special shoots. With the exception of our site directors who appear onscreen and a few other full-time employees who also participate as regular models, our on-screen performers are contractors who have either applied through our website or have been hired through talent agencies.

Models

Kink.com has garnered one of the best reputations in the adult entertainment industry for our respectful and fair treatment of models. We provide clean, comfortable working conditions and an honest and approachable crew; we ensure that models fully understand their rights and feel empowered to stop or alter a scene at any time; we ask all directors to follow a strict set of shooting rules so that all of our content conforms with our company values; we treat our models as professionals and compensate them generously for their talent.

Live Shows

KinkLive.com is the home of Kink’s interactive live cams. In addition to individual model shows, the site also features monthly BDSM group and solo broadcasts from sites like Device Bondage, The Training of O, and The Upper Floor, and impromptu parties and chats with lifestyle players and pros. Tag team matches for UltimateSurrender.com are shot in front of a live audience at the San Francisco Armory. These shoots are open to a limited number of website subscribers and to the press.

Tours

Kink.com offers regular tours of the historic San Francisco Armory throughout the week. Led by Kink.com employees, the public tour takes visitors though all five floors of the landmark building and allows them to explore the facilities originally built to service the National Guard, as well as the elaborate, cinematic sets that have since been constructed by Kink.com’s Art Department for use as production studios. Photo/Video Policy

Videotape access to Kink.com shoots is restricted to major cable and broadcast television outlets and are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Photography of the facilities is permitted on public tours of the Armory; however, photography of shoots in progress or photographs of Kink.com employees are not allowed without explicit advance permission.

Except for a small number of performers who also work here, Kink.com’s performers are contractors. We are therefore unable to schedule interviews on their behalf, and encourage all press requests to be sent directly to the performer or their agency.
