From the President
The first Brown students I met were members of the men’s and women’s track and field teams. In the spring of 2012—after my appointment as the nineteenth president of Brown had been announced but before I officially started—I had breakfast with the Brown team at an all-Ivy meet. Please Welcome the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2014
The University inducted the 40th class into the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame on Nov. 8, 2014. Over 600 guests were treated to an incredible surprise announcement as a group of spirited donors gathered together to create a $1.5 million endowment for the men's rugby head coaching chair in honor of 2014 inductee Linton A. What a Day! Fifth Annual Brown Bear Golf Classic
Nearly 100 golfers came out to Shelter Harbor Golf Club in Charlestown, RI on September 29th for the Fifth Annual Brown Bear Golf Classic. We had perfect weather and a full course. 150 Golfers Celebrate Brown Football
On August 4th at Rhode Island Country Club, over 150 golfers gathered for the 23rd annual BFA Golf Classic and Season Kickoff Dinner. A picture perfect day led to tremendous golf and an exciting dinner and live auction. Guests took home prizes including lobster feasts, dinners with NFL coaches and players, tickets to NFL and MLB games, and much more. View all the photos at the BUSF facebook page.
