About New Evangelizers for the New Evangelization

New Evangelizers

Made up of six distinct yet unified ministries (see below), New Evangelizers provides free tools and resources for the New Evangelization to help Catholics know their faith, live their faith, and share their faith more effectively to empower them to take leading roles in the New Evangelization and encourage others to do the same.

How?

We accomplish this by creating and distributing digital (online) and physical (hard-copy) catechetical and spiritual materials and resources for individual growth and study, as well as for mass distribution worldwide.  From CDs to DVDs to printed catechetical material, we want to do everything we can to help people know their faith, live their faith, and share their faith more effectively.

In a nutshell: We give away free Catholic stuff to promote New Evangelization and ask you to do the same.  Our primary goal is to better equip Christians with tools and information in order to assist the Catholic Church in re-evangelizing the world for Jesus Christ.

Through resources such as our online bulletin board community, up-to-the minute blogging about New Evangelization news and discussions, podcasts and videos, and free and bulk materials to help teach the faith more clearly, more thoroughly, and more effectively, New Evangelizers will do all we can to help people better understand the Catholic faith, put it to use in their daily lives, and share it with others.

With a greater focus on the New Evangelization, we will help propel the message of the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization by increasing awareness of the springtime of the new evangelization and by creating and distributing resources in alignment with the goals and activities of the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization.

Rosary Army

spacer

Founded in 2003, Rosary Army has been dedicated to making, praying, and giving away all-twine knotted Rosaries and encouraging others to do the same.

In that time, countless thousands of free, all-twine, knotted Rosaries have been distributed around the world to anyone who requests one from our website. Rosary Army Rosaries have been sent to all fifty of the United States as well as countless countries around the globe. Rosary Army soldiers exist in multiple countries and actively live out Rosary Army’s motto of Make Them, Pray Them, Give Them Away.

Our primary goal is to remove every obstacle a person may have to praying the Rosary, including giving them a free Rosary of their own. Through the Rosary, we’ve seen people’s faith renewed, conversions to Catholicism from paganism and atheism, and a bounty of other fruits from this vineyard in which we work for God.

It is the goal of RosaryArmy.com to collect and distribute thousands of Rosaries a year, reaching out to the Churched and un-Churched. This takes time, initiative, and donations (both of knotted Rosaries and financial support) from generous sponsors.

We invite you to get involved. Become a Rosary Army Soldier and make a difference in this world for Christ through His Mother.

The Catholics Next Door

spacer The Catholics Next Door is both a radio show and an online community of Catholics striving to more effectively live their faith in today’s world.
If your neighbors have enough kids to start their own basketball team, then you might already know Greg and Jennifer Willits — The Catholics Next Door! After ending a successful four year run on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel, the show was relaunched and is hosted weekly by Greg and Jennifer Willits, the founders of New Evangelizers.

With a unique mix of real life and the Catholic faith, The Catholics Next Door is about marriage and kids, pop culture and the other funny stuff of everyday living. It’s about the fun side of life, with a generous dose of Catholicism thrown in for good measure. You’ve seen them at Church and around the block, now get to know The Catholics Next Door with Greg and Jennifer Willits!

That Catholic Show

That Catholic Show is absolutely perfect for anyone who has ever asked questions like, “Why do Catholics sit, stand, and kneel all the time?” Or, “What is it with Catholics and Statues?”

Excellent for RCIA, youth groups, or anyone simply interested in Catholicism.

The National Catholic Register calls it “Humorous…yet reverent.”  We think that’s a perfect description.  You can get all nine episodes for free on DVD, and order boxes of them to give away to everyone who might have questions about the things Catholics do.

Total Consecration

Total Consecration to Jesus is an absolutely beautiful exercise to increase your spirituality and ability to truly serve our Lord Jesus Christ. The basic premise set forth by St. Louis Marie de Montfort is simply that Jesus came into the world through Mary and that for us to always be assured of being close to Jesus, even closer than ever before, we should go through Mary.

Consecration means to set aside for a sacred purpose. Mary’s life was set aside for the sole purpose of serving our Lord. By following her example, we, too, can completely give ourselves to Christ in a fundamental way that consecrates us to Him. We give our lives to Him in service and love.

Our website has full text and audio files for each day of prayers, along with schedules and additional information to help you on this most beautiful of spiritual exercises.

Promote Catholicism

spacer

In his message for the 45th World Communications Day, Pope Benedict XVI notices how digital social networks are creating “a new appreciation of communication itself, which is seen first of all as dialogue, exchange and the creation of positive relations.”

The purpose of Promote Catholicism and our annual “International Promote Catholic Media Day” allows many to experience Catholic life, teaching and spirituality as a “holy exchange of gifts.”

Every day is a good day to promote Catholic media. Make a point of sharing with your friends and social networks your favorite Catholic media and in doing so answer the call to be missionaries on this new digital continent.

Each week, Promote Catholicism highlights Catholics doing incredible things for the good of the Catholic Church and the New Evangelization.
