V-Hub Link at Buses By the Bridge

We have expanded the development of our products and now have available our V-Hub Link Kit for Buses. We are showcasing our new V-Hub Link Kit at the Buses By the Bridge show in Lake Havasu, Arizona. On right side we have the current replacement for the factory accelerator linkage replacement and next to it our custom hand manufactured and quality tested replacement. It comes prepackaged with instructions and only one piece to assemble. Bolts on in two places. (20 min installation time).

The location next to the Hampton Hotel sits nicely on a grass field tucked beside the London Bridge with a beautiful view of Lake Havasu. The water is within walking distance. Many bus enthusiasts brought their mini barbeque’s and tents to camp next to the water and watch the sun rise over the valley.

We are excited to announce the New V-Hub Link Upgrade Kit for 1955-67 we have developed for Type2’s. It replaces the old mechanical linkage that is prone to wear and failure. The new design Powder Coated V-Hub link consist of 2 sealed bearings in a hub that rides on a special made spindle bolting into the same locating hole as the original lever. The throttle cable easily attaches to a revolving connector that also has a sealed bearing inserted. It moves on its own spindle with the V-Hub Link when the accelerator pedal is depressed.

On the new upgrade kit a new stainless steel push rod connects the accelerator pedal to the V-Hub Link with special made ball joints. The new design V-Hub Link upgrade kit comes assembled with a rubber boot and is ready to bolt on without any modification to the frame or the accelerator pedal.

Installation time is approximately 30 minutes.
Flat pedal and throttle cable are not included in the Kit. US made.

The Speed Ball Twin Lever Accelerator, revolutionary in its design, provides a new solution to the current obsolete single lever design. The old single lever design, gets twisted, warped from the carburetor return spring and the applied foot pressure at acceleration, needs a modern permanent fix to solve this problem. As the single lever twist out of alignment it also bends the guide rail on the flat pedal.
