This guide is an ongoing project which seeks to create an uptodate and comprehensive guide to the material culture of Bronze Age Britain (c. 2500-800 BC). It started with Bronze Age metalwork but will expand to include other materials. It was originally conceived by Ben Roberts to assist in the identification of new finds discovered in the Portable Antiquities Scheme. It builds on earlier guides and ongoing work by many individuals. Special acknowledgement should go to Sally Worrell, Nisha Doshi, Alan West, David Parker, Emma Traherne and Alessia Murgia who have made substantial contributions to the guide.
