Spring Conference and Fall In-service

Lane holds two events each year to provide growth opportunities for Lane employees.

Spring Conference

The event we know as Spring Conference arrives annually on Lane's main campus on a Friday during spring term. On this day, the College closes its doors to students in order to promote professional development and training for classified, faculty, and management staff in the form of concurrent, multi-disciplinary workshops that occur throughout the day, as well as providing staff an opportunity to network and meet up with colleagues at a buffet lunch prepared by the Center for Meeting and Learning staff.

Fall In-service

As we all prepare for welcoming our new, incoming students to Lane and as we continue to guide all of our students toward the successful progression and completion of their respective programs, the Fall In-service planning committee is working behind the scenes to plan for another inspiring event that takes place just prior to the beginning of the new term. Our overarching goal is to create an in-service climate that supports all staff at the college by providing educational workshops, lectures, and breakout sessions for classified, faculty, and management staff.
