PHII Informatics Academy

Workforce Position Classifications and Descriptions

In partnership with CDC, ASTHO and NACCHO, PHII created four template job descriptions for positions at all levels of a public health agency. These templates are intended to serve as a guide to agencies that wish to introduce informatics expertise to their work.

PHII brings together public health professionals, facilitating collaborative efforts that enable them to learn from each other, share best practices and work together to address barriers to improving population health.

PHII Requirements Laboratory

Through our Collaborative Requirements Development Methodology (CRDM)™, PHII assists public health agencies in analyzing the tasks and processes performed; defining better ways to perform those processes; and describing the requirements for the ways that information systems should support that work.

Technical Assistance

PHII works with domestic and international public health agencies to help strengthen practitioners' information capabilities by offering technical assistance services.
