PHII’s Informatics Academy supports development of the global public health workforce. Through delivery of practice-based training sessions, online learning solutions, and downloadable resources, the Academy serves the professional education needs of practitioners in the field. Informatics Position Descriptions

This zip file contains a framework for informatics position descriptions and template position descriptions for 4 levels: Executive, Management, Professional, and Clinical. The templates are intended to be a menu for public health agencies to select from to identify roles and responsibilities and the related knowledge, skills, and abilities most needed by the agency or program. 

These templates were developed in partnership with CDC, ASTHO, and NACCHO and paid for with cooperative agreement funding from the CDC Division of Scientific Education and Professional Development.
