Laurie Reece has 20 years of experience in association management, with 17 years in executive management roles. While at Texas Medical Association, she managed four specialty societies, including Texas Transplantation Society, which she has continuously managed since 1995.

Currently she is Executive Director of The Alliance for Paired Donation, a national organization that facilitates kidney transplants for incompatible donor-recipient pairs, and Texas Transplantation Society, a group of transplant physicians, surgeons, nurses and others who work in the field of organ or bone marrow transplantation. She also serves on UNOS’s Kidney Paired Donation Subcommittee on Education and as a consultant to the Texas Medical Association’s Blood and Tissue Committee. While employed at TMA, Laurie helped create the award-winning Live and Then Give organ donor awareness campaign, later adopted on a national level by the American Medical Association.
