Little Bird Unveils Influencer Search Platform

Little Bird launched its platform for identifying influencers on specific topics into private beta. The company also announced a $1 million round of funding, led by Mark Cuban and including Howard Lindzon’s Social Leverage, Wieden + Kennedy, Dharmesh Shah, Jay Baer, Henry Copeland, Jonathan Siegel, Matt Haughey and Blaine Cook.

The company, led by the accomplished tech writer Marshall Kirkpatrick, was originally known as Plexus Engine. Kirkpatrick will present Little Bird at the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) Demo Day today. The live video stream starts at 2:00 PM PDT (GMT -7).
