Chartered by Congress, we work closely with federal, state and local governments, providing a wide range of much-needed services, and all of this without fanfare or financial reward. Local Civil Air Patrol Squadrons are all across the state, serving our communities, the State of Alaska and America. We provide humanitarian aid during natural disasters, work closely with state and local emergency service agencies (law enforcement, fire, search and rescue) as well as the US Department of Homeland Security. We are a 501c3 “not for profit” that does all of this using dedicated volunteers from all over the State of Alaska.
