Future of The High Street Event

The ‘Future of The High Street’ event was held in March 2013 at our Carter Lane office.

We had a lively debate from an expert panel – Philip Beeching (HMV agency head), Robin Bresnark (music journalist), Faisal Galaria (Spotify and Tesco Digital) and our very own Richard Edgley (Strategist).  Plus a live link with Stephen Godfroy (co-owner of Rough Trade Retail) from his new store in New York City.

The debate looked at why traditional retail models, exemplified by HMV, ultimately proved unsustainable and how companies like Rough Trade are staying ahead through experimentation, innovation and customer intimacy.  Our guests included Vodafone, Sainsburys, Virgin Atlantic, WE7 Digital, Barclays, CIO Magazine, Moo.com and Raconteur Media who all participated in the audience discussion.

We look forward to welcoming you to our future events this year. Please keep us posted with topics that are of particular interest to you at embrace@fluxx.uk.com
