Welcome to the 17th Pan-American Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation Conference SRI2013

June 19-21, 2013
Gaithersburg, Maryland

The SRI2013 Conference will be held on the campus of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The conference is jointly hosted by the Cornell University Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS), the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab), and the Synchrotron Ultraviolet Radiation Facility (SURF III).

The conference includes oral and poster presentations related to recent developments in synchrotron sources, instrumentation, experimental techniques, detectors, beamline optics, lithography, and other exciting areas of synchrotron research. Facility posters will also be presented.

Enabling Science and Innovation

Advances in synchrotron instrumentation, from sources through optics to detectors, have made possible the development of novel techniques to address pressing scientific questions that impact our daily life. SRI2013 is a forum to highlight these connections between synchrotron radiation instrumentation, science, and society.
