We’re taking Uncubed to San Francisco. Prepare.
1849’s gold rush, 1968’s Summer of Love, 1995’s tech boom – the city of San Francisco has seen some crazy things in its 236 year history, but never anything like this.
On Thursday March 21 we’re bringing Uncubed – the country’s biggest, and coolest, startup hiring event – to San Francisco’s Dogpatch Studios. After doors open at 1:30 pm, the City by the Bay may never be the same.
Side project not taking off? Or just tired of working at that enormous company? Among the 30 + companies looking to hire are heavyweights and earlier startups alike, including: Facebook, AirBnB, Mozilla, Rdio, Stack Exchange, Urban Airship, Okta, SideCar and Unseat.me.
Catch people on the panel mics like Courtney Erin (Head of Technical Recruiting at Facebook), Abdur Chowdhury (co-founder of the Alta Vista School and ex-chief scientist at Twitter), and Jim Kelly (Head of R&D at Quantcast), amongst others.
As for the rest of the Uncubed circus…well, step right up.
The Rdio Paper Napkin Pitch includes top prizes of $2000 cash and free Rdio for life. The Mozilla Live Art Show will feature four extraordinary artists. And the Quantcast 2nd Wind Reception (for the 21+ crowd) will offer an open bar, music, mingling, and more.

Now go forth (and put some flowers in your hair).
Nitty Gritty:
1901: Year San Francisco outlawed burials within the city limits
1907: Year Alcatraz became an official U.S. military prison
1987: Year Full House began airing
